Terry D. Schlotterback
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Schlotterback brings a wealth of medical device knowledge garnered from his 30+ years in orthopedics. Over his career he has held Vice President-level positions in Product Development, Engineering, Innovation and Marketing Services. He served as Vice President of Area Sales for Zimmer Americas and Vice President of Global Services where he developed a worldwide data base management system, a Physician Practice Management Program and a Digital Templating System. Mr. Schlotterback also served as Zimmer’s Vice President of New Product Development where he developed an innovative process that led to the introduction of the industry’s first minimally invasive techniques for total hip and knee replacement. He served as President of Zimmer Spine and went on to serve as President of Zimmer Trauma.
Prior to Zimmer, Mr. Schlotterback served in senior management roles for Johnson & Johnson’s Depuy Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Division, Mitek Surgical Products, where he led Research, New Product Development and Business Development and the eventual acquisition of Mitek by Johnson & Johnson. Additionally, Mr. Schlotterback currently serves as Executive Chairman for OrthoPediatrics Corp., a new company dedicated to meeting the orthopedic needs of children. He also serves as Chairman of the Board for Nextremity Solutions Inc., another emerging company focused on the development of medical devices for the foot and ankle. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
